Investment
We can fund your idea up to Php 2,500,000 to help develop an MVP and test your idea in the market. This is a mix of capital and operational expenditures. If you want to know more about our investment, you may read the details below.
Product, Technical, and Operations Support
You will have a dedicated development team to help you test your product in the market. You will also receive support from shared services like Operations, Human Resources, Sales, Finance, Marketing and Legal.
Guidance from experts
A round lasts only three (3) months, this is enough time to build a lot of things. However, if you are not careful, this could be a very short time and you may end up not building anything useful. So aside from our investment, UBX will be guiding you in building an MVP in the most efficient manner.

Mentorship and Coaching
While in the garage you will have a mentor assigned to you from UBX. We will also provide you with coaches in product development, business development, sales, and technology.
Regular Review by Expert Advisors
At the end of each month, a panel of advisors will check on your progress and provide you with feedback and recommendations.
Access to Union Bank and Aboitiz Ecosystem
During the garage stage, you will have access to a wider ecosystem where you can test your ideas. We will introduce you to potential partners within the group ecosystem.
Tools
Once in the program, we will provide you with all the tools you’ll need to be successful. This would include email, real-time communication, code repositories, online scrum boards, and even equipment like laptops or desktop computers.

Selected ideas are asked to pitch to a panel. Panelists would include UBX experts on business, technology, sales and marketing.

Is there an office space where my team can work on?
Yes! We have a great office located at the 33F Union Bank Plaza, Meralco Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasig City. However, due to the pandemic, we do encourage a remote work arrangement. If your team chooses to be co-located, do let us know in advance so we can arrange this for you and guide you in advance on our office rules and policies as well as the safety measures applied due to COVID-19.
I have an idea, how do I apply?

I have multiple ideas, can I submit them all?
We would accept as many ideas as possible, however only one of your ideas can get into the program. We encourage you to select the best idea that you have and focus on it rather than spread yourself too thin on multiple ideas.
What industries or sectors are going to be accepted?
Yes, UBX will provide you with a monthly allowance to support your financial needs. This allowance will be part of our investment.
How can I use the investment?
Our investment will be a mix of operational expenditures such as development cost, marketing, subscriptions to tools and cloud services, and salaries of the team members. While in the program, a finance officer will guide you on your finances.
How does the selection process work?
We will take in ideas until June 11, 2021. After the deadline the UBX innovations garage committee will select ideas that will move on to the pitching stage. If your idea is chosen, we will invite you to pitch your idea to a panel for fifteen (15) minutes. We will accept the top pitches into the program.
Can we join as a team?
Yes you may! However, we would encourage you to be wise about the people you'll take in during the program. Additional members will be considered in the total allocation of Php 2,500,000*. The ideal team count is 3 members, with atleast 1 developer in the team.
*Maximum amount of the total investment is Php 2,500,000. This could be lower in actuality.
